FLV Spider Freeware version is a fullfunctional version with all essential features in
place. Two restrictions are applied: the maximal number of
captured videos, which is five, and the maximal duration of the streaming (live) video, which is around 30 sec.
In other words FLV Spider Freeware version will show only first five videos, captured from the web browser.
If you need to capture more videos then all you need to do is to close FLV Spider application, reboot your Mac,
then relaunch FLV Spider and the web browser again. Live video capture will be aborted on around 30 seconds
with appropriate message displaying. So, you can easily test if FLV Spider will work for your prefered web site.
Also few advanced interface features are disabled in the Freeware version.
Video Preview panel is permanently visible in Freeware version. Checkboxes
in Preferences panel can't change their state. Please note that Video / Audio Quality controls work in Freeware version.
Thus, saving videos to iPod is enabled completely.
As for such advanced tools, included into the software, as Lossless Movie Joiner and Lossless Movie Trimmer,
they both have a functional limitation in the free FLV Spider version. Lossless Movie Joiner allows to join only
two video/audio files in the Free version. Lossless Movie Trimmer doesn't allow to adjust the initial trimming
position, so it is possible to trim a media file from its end.
All limitations are removed in the FLV Spider Pro version, which
can be downloaded instantly after license purchasing. Please take a look at the Order Page for more information.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Intel- or PowerPC-based Mac with MacOS X 10.4 or higher is
